The Michigan Capitals Girls Hockey Association cordially invites you and your team to join us in celebrating our 21st Annual Golden Blades Women's Hockey Tournament to be held January 24-27th, 2008. The tournament will be held at the Ice Box Sports Center (21902 Telegraph Road, Trenton, Michigan)—only 15 minutes from the Ambassador Bridge!
Competitive Divisions: 10 & Under 12 & Under 14 & Under 16 & Under 19 & Under Seniors
Elite Divisions: 14 & Under 16 & Under 19 & Under
*Non-checking tournament divisions are based on age as of 12/31/07. Canadian teams will be placed in the appropriate age bracket.
The Golden Blades entry fee for competitive divisions is $650 (U.S. funds). Elite divisions are $800 (US funds). Entry fee must accompany the attached team registration form and a legible copy of your official team roster.
ELITE DIVISIONS
14 & UNDER

16 & UNDER and 19 & UNDER
Each participating team will be guaranteed three games. All round robin games are curfew clock. Semi-finals and Finals no curfew clock. All finalists will be presented with awards. There is no charge for spectators.
Please note that the accompanying check does not guarantee acceptance into the tournament. Teams will be notified of their acceptance as early as possible. However, the Michigan Capitals Association reserves the right to accept or deny any team, and/or cancel a division. Criteria for team selection will be based on equal competition and fun for all participants. The Golden Blades Tournament Director will not entertain requests from teams about acceptance until all divisions have been finalized.

Entry deadline is December 1

- Gold & Silver medals for 1st and 2nd place teams respectively in each division
- Sponsor trophy for winning team in each division
- One (1) tournament "MVP" player award per division (based on Tournament Committee decision)
Teams must be registered with their official governing body - ie., M.A.H.A., U.S.A. Hockey, O.W.H.A., etc. This is a MA.H.A., U.S.A. Hockey sanctioned tournament. M.A.H.A., U.S.A. Hockey tournament rules will apply.
Refunds are allowed if the director is notified in writing by December 31, 2007.
